The aim of the new AAL Call 2021 is to support innovative, transnational and multi-disciplinary collaborative projects.
While keeping an open call approach (i.e open to all 8 AAL application areas), the Call 2021 would like to stress three elements, namely an inclusive health & care approach (health prevention, preservation of physical & mental health, social participation), the stimulation and upscaling of innovation in active & healthy ageing through health & care eco-systems and the accessibility of digital solutions to end users, e.g through education for greater e-literacy.
Both Collaborative Projects and Small Collaborative Projects will be supported by 2021 Call (countries participating in SCPs should be checked once the Call text is published).
Call 2021 Info Days to take place from 27-28 January, 2021 in an online format. More news to follow soon!
Furthermore, the next AALForum2021 will be held from 10 to 12 May 2021 in Trieste, together with the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region as co-organizer. Among the topic priorities of this event will be:
- Lead a platform for innovation and change in the field of Digital Health and AHA
- Adapt health and care systems to the changing needs of an aging population and tap into the lessons learned from the Coronavirus epidemic in 2020
- Promote intergenerational solidarity
